This was the zero point for the record. We'd been messing around for a couple months, but "All Things Change" was the first time we found the feeling we were going for musically. I knew I wanted to sing something at the end, and the words "We can change the world" came into my head when I was driving around. I thought, "Oh man, you're asking for it." But there's something so car-crashy about someone actually saying something like that -- you don't want to look but you have to. The feeling is authentic. I do feel we can change the world, but it's not a Michael Jackson sense. There's a sense here that it's not going to be easy. (BC, SheKnows.com interview Aug. 2005)

			all things change
never rest, never sure
what is worth
fighting on for

all things change,
never rest, never sure
what is worth
fighting on for

all things change, around
all is faith unwound

i found a lead
a single furtive reason
my senses reeled
in seeking youthful madness
i trust, belief belongs to me
someone will come
to spit the seed
a single weed gets respect
i'll change my quills to break the will
forever must hold

all things strain
be they changed
be they fair
be they hope
masked as care

all things change
never rest, never sure
what is worth
fighting on for

all things change
never rest, never sure
what is worth
hanging on for

you might, be there
god knows, skies stare
taste dirt, you hurt
swallow, shallow
forgive, this day
summon, courage
no light, comes in
shadows, laughing

all things change
never rest, never sure
what is worth
fighting on for

we can change, the world
we can change, the world
we can change, the world
we can change, the world
we can change, the world
we can change, the world
we can change, the world
we can change, the world
we can change, the world
